Cliff has successfully coached clients located throughout the United States. He acts as a sounding board to help untangle knotty issues . He guides those leaders who find it is “lonely at the top” and need an experienced hand to help sort out operational problems and want to talk through challenging business decisions.

Cliff holds an MBA from Willamette University and a BS in Political Science from Claremont McKenna College. He is a frequent contributor to industry newsletters and served as adjunct professor at Portland State University, where he taught real estate related topics.

Cliff is a Certified Property Manager® (CPM) and a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM). Cliff joined Bluestone and Hockley Real Estate Services 1986 and successfully merged that company with Criteria Properties in 2021 to Establish Bluestone Real Estate Services.

I have known and worked with Cliff Hockley for twenty-five years.  Cliff was the CEO of Bluestone and Hockley up until he and his wife sold the real estate services company in 2022.  Cliff built Bluestone and Hockley from a company of 20 people up to its present size of about 90 employees.  As of 2022 Bluestone and Hockley was one of the top 10 real estate services companies in the Portland/Vancouver area.  As of this writing Cliff still works and consults for Bluestone/SVN on the brokerage side of the business.
